She worked her way up the corporate ladder from food and beverage manager to director of operations at the Cebu City Marriott Hotel, to general manager at Alegre Hotel in Cebu before accepting her next challenge to move to Davao and manage one of the premier hotels in the city.

Marudo is nominated in the Best Performance by an Actor category for his performance in an episode of “Maala-ala Mo Kaya” (“MMK”) titled “Anino.” He is competing against actors Julio Andrade (Brazil), Kenneth Branagh (United Kingdom) and Kad Merad (France). Branagh is a four-time Oscar-nominated actor and director, whose latest project is “Murder on the Orient Express.”
